did they just like give up near the end? it’s like a box-ticking prog politics 样板戏. it’s not political correctness i’m attacking here but bad, lazy writing. it’s just all part of the 21 c. left TV playbook b.s. and straightup unentertaining. it’s also almost as if they know they’re being smart but tbf they’re not even that smart in the first place
